
Without volunteers, Beyond Gender Conference cannot happen and is made possible by the energy, dedication, and generosity of volunteers who help create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for the entire community.
If you enjoy supporting events, meeting people, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, volunteering can be a rewarding way to participate.
1: Security & Safety Team: 4 hours or 8 hours
The goal of this team is to maintain order within the event. You have a clear understanding of all rules and uphold them. Most importantly, you check for badges & monitor entry points. Your primary goal is safety within the event & to uphold the rules. All team members will attend zoom meetings prior to the event to meet the team and secure your schedule. All hands on deck Fri by 12:00p
2: Registration Team:
This team checks in all attendees and you personally put on their wristband. Zoom meetings are important to meet your team, create and go over your schedule. All hands on deck Fri by 12:00p
3: Social Activities Director: You make suggestions to create the schedule for the kids & teen social activities. At BGC the logistics team creates the environment for each activity for setup and follows your lead in making sure your vision happens.
4: Logistics Team – Where The Magic Happens: You are part of an integral team helping set up where needed throughout the event. All hands on deck Friday at 12:00p to help unload the truck, set up where needed and help reload Sunday.
5: Marketing/Social Media Team: This team creates excitement and buzz throughout the year on all social platforms
6: Sponsorship Team: Find businesses and individuals to help create the conference with their generous donations, which are tax-free as we are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
7. Photo Team: Throughout event, while enjoying event.
