LELAND KOBLE
NEW BEGINNINGS TLC & BEYOND GENDER
Leland Koble is a 69 year old cis-female, non binary, two-spirit Gemini. Leland had top surgery in December of 2011 and is the co-founder of New Beginnings TLC – a transgender surgical recovery retreat in Florida, which began Feb 2012. New Beginnings has served almost 1,000 patients from around the world during their journey before closing due to Covid. Leland has been a nurse for over 40 years with his last 12 years in surgery. Lelands pronoun is Sir and is committed to service to his communities and to providing a safe space for transition, education, and growth. He is currently focused on being a catalyst for reclaiming Florida by producing the Beyond Gender Conference!

ALENA
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Alena is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. They hold a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality Studies and have over 15 years of experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As both a mental health professional and a member of the community, Alena is committed to raising awareness of the relationship between our mental and physical health. 

ADAM RYAN
COMMUNITY ACTIVITST
Adam Ryan is a neurospicy artist and community builder who swapped a childhood of farm-town cheerleading and church repression for storytelling, crop tops, and radical queer joy. Honored as a Grand Marshal for St. Pete Pride 2026, he has spent years acting as a catalyst for belonging. Adam’s grassroots advocacy spans lobbying with Equality Florida and marching for trans rights to volunteering with Girls Rock Camp and PFLAG. Whether through his distinct zine art or fierce local advocacy, Adam is dedicated to dismantling toxic culture, fostering authentic connection, and proving that mistakes are simply the best way to play.

JOEY
SPEKTRUM HEALTH
Joey (he/him) is the founder and president of SPEKTRUM Health. He has a wealth of experience working in a variety of healthcare practice settings. He has over 25 years of nursing experience and has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for 15 years. He has formal training and experience in health policy and health law. He has served on the executive board for the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners (FLANP) as well as the Central Florida Advance Practice Nursing Counsel (CFANPC). Clinically he specializes in LGBT healthcare with a special focus on HIV treatment and prevention, STD treatment and prevention and medical care for transgender individuals. For fun he enjoys the sun and water. He is an active member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). He is also trained and holds certificates from the Mazonni Center in Philadelphia, PA for Transgender Wellness. He spends as many of his days off as possible beaching and sunning! Though he does not have any human children he is happy to have two four-legged children (Kimber & Speck).

Will Cashman is a chemical dependency counselor, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, recovery advocate, author, podcast host, and person in recovery. He is the author of Colors Across The Sky: A Journey of Hope and co-host of Recovery: Unfiltered with Nick and Will. Drawing from lived experience and work across clinical behavioral health, peer recovery, and recovery housing settings, Will speaks candidly about addiction, mental health, chemsex, LGBTQIA+ identity, stigma, and belonging. His work promotes practical education, harm reduction, dignity, and individualized, shame-free pathways to recovery.
Nick Fantozzi is the co-host of Recovery: Unfiltered with Nick and Will, a podcast centered on candid conversations about recovery, mental health, identity, relationships, stigma, and personal growth. He brings a thoughtful, direct perspective to complex and often uncomfortable subjects, helping create space for honest dialogue without judgment. Through the podcast, Nick works alongside Will Cashman to challenge stigma, elevate lived experiences, and encourage a deeper understanding of the personal, social, and emotional realities that shape recovery and belonging.

They are Trauma-Informed Accredited Associate Certified Coaches (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) with more than 30 years of combined experience in trauma-informed personal and leadership development. Together, they specialize in empowering individuals, leaders, and organizations through transformative coaching, impactful workshops, and custom curriculum designed to foster resilience, emotional intelligence, and sustainable growth.

I started my transition over 15 years ago. Since then: top surgery, a hysterectomy, all three stages of phalloplasty, implants, marriage, divorce, twins, and frozen embryos, in which I just had another son from with my amazing partner.

I came out in corporate America — got told to use the women’s restroom even after I was passing as male. Dealt with the gym issues mid-transition. Technically came out of the closet three times and got nearly all my surgeries and my frozen embryos covered through insurance loopholes. I’m a life coach, an open book, proud father & trans man.

AMERICAN FOUNDATION SUICIDE PREVENTION
Jessica Toy (she/her) is the Programs Manager for the Florida Chapters of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).  She has been involved with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since 2016. Jessica works across the state to bring programs to the community that support AFSP’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. Jessica is a Mental Health First Aid trainer and ASIST trained. Jessica also works with AFSP volunteers to train them to deliver other educational programs.

Joseph has served on staff with YES Institute since 1996. As Executive Director of YES Institute, Joseph supports and guides an amazing team who leads continuing education courses for teachers, mental health therapists and medical professionals across South Florida – and national communities via Zoom – working to reduce health disparities of youth and families impacted by gender diversity and anti-gay social stigmas.

Monique (Aura) (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialty in clinical assessment & treatment of mental illness. She provides supportive and preventative services for managing mental health & creating healthy lifestyles. Aura has personal and professional experience supporting and treating people with diverse gender identities, queerness, racial minorities, and other marginalized people. She teaches, mentors and facilitates events & healing spaces inclusive for QTBIPOC. Aura values mentorship, community service and education to create safer and intentional life experiences, for vulnerable individuals. She brings her clinical skills in mental health disparities, grief, trauma, & family therapy to offer support for those attending Beyond Gender.

KATHRYN BELLINA
COMMUNITY ACTIVIST
Kathryn Belina is a community activist and organizer dedicated to advancing equity in Florida. As a Community Captain with Equality Florida and First Coast Steering Committee member, they mobilize residents and guide regional advocacy efforts. They organize monthly First Coast LGBTQ+ Townhalls addressing community needs and actively engage in Florida’s legislative and electoral landscape. Kathryn volunteers with organizations including Queer Trans Project, Unspoken Society, NFAN, and The Friends of the Quilt, advocating for trans, queer, and HIV communities. At Florida Blue, they serve on the board of Respect, the company’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group, bringing commitment to inclusion into the workplace.

Luna Lynx is a licensed Esthetician, Cosmetologist, and Massage therapist. She has proudly dedicated her life to body, mind, and soul integrative practices focused on Creatorhood. Luna believes in Sacred Sexuality, gladly sharing her deep knowledge of intimacy, vulnerability, and transparency. She’s been described as endearing, affable, and effervescent. She has an eccentric charm to her ever changing and evolving personality. She’s Polyamorous, Pansexual, Kinky High Priestess with her Attention Dialed into a Higher Dimension. She experiences her bliss and power through her vulnerability encouraging the world to love and accept their magnificence.

NIKOLAS MONTOLIO

Nikolas Montolio is a passionate youth leader eager to share wisdom from his gender transition to help younger generations feel seen and empowered. Nikolas quickly discovered his calling to empower young people and made it his life’s work to do so.

Post-graduation, Nikolas joined YES Institute’s Youth Empowerment Council, where he was one of the four dedicated youth interviewers for the Legacy Couples Project, in partnership with HistoryMiami Museum and Miami Beach Pride. In March 2022, Nikolas joined the YES Institute as the Youth Empowerment Coordinator. He meets and supports numerous families and youth who are coming out as transgender and nonbinary, and presents to hundreds of educators in school systems as well as mental health and medical professionals on transgender and nonbinary inclusion.

Sir Stephanie “Pandy” Lindsey is a bisexual LGBTQ+ educator, facilitator, and longtime community advocate. Beginning her online community work in New York City during the early days of internet forums, she has spent decades creating spaces centered on inclusion, communication, and authentic human connection. Born into the LGBTQ+ community, she brings lived experience navigating identity, discrimination, belonging, and resilience. Known for emotionally honest and compassionate discussions, Sir Stephanie focuses on queer identity, emotional wellness, neurodivergence, and overcoming adversity while encouraging others to live authentically and unapologetically.
